sisterly picture! this too was taken during the night at orchard road. we took this picture near paragon, if i’m not mistaken. coincidentally, there was a singing duo just outside paragon and one of them was hazrul nizam. he was tall, but most importantly his voice was beautiful and smooth. he sang umbrella by rihanna and i thought it was the most perfect rendition ever. voice so smooth like velvet, completely in awe.
my father brought the whole family to orchard road at night on boxing day. the intention was to take the christmas lights cause they obviously look better at night. so i decided to try something new thus i did bokeh photography which i found from a diy photography website. it’s quite simple actually. this picture is one of the many that i took. the bokeh shape that i chose was a typical one, a heart-shape. i’m no expert as i’m still experimenting but i think the picture turned out alright for a first attempt. there were many people at orchard road that night, they probably had the same intention as us.
i’ve been neglecting my tumblr for quite some time now and i blame it all on the fact that i let my laziness get the better of me. so much has happened, and we went to alot of places during the past few weeks whatnot with christmas and the new year. for a start on the belated updates, this picture was taken on one particular thursday when my father took leave from work. look at my brother’s face, he refuses to smile, hmph. we went to ikea tampines cause my sister and i decided to give our room a makeover! our room is not complete yet, but at least we’re halfway done. the bedroom walls are purple now by the way.
after faezah’s birthday celebration at ramen ten yesterday, we headed to ion orchard for a dosage of coffee. we chose dr.cafe over starbucks for no particular reason, but it was the second time we were trying dr.cafe. starbucks is still the best but dr.cafe was still quite alright, i guess. anyway, i wanted to try something new so i ordered the iced americano coffee and to my utter surprise the coffee was really strong indeed! it kind of reminded of the kopi-o that you can get at hawker centres, so imagine how coffee was at its purest form. it was fine, but i think i’ll stick to my espresso. of course, coffee came with gossips, talks and laughters.
i had the spicy tomyam chicken cutlet ramen. it was rated with three chillies so i thought i’ll give a shot. it wasn’t as spicy as how i thought it would be so that was a bit disappointing but other than that the ramen was good. we had sushi too but only a little. i mean, what’s japanese food without sushi right? but please, someone stop me from spending my holidays by eating away. i need to get that toned body.
